FCX North Black U16 Girls Give Back!

The FCX U16 Girls North made a major donation of can food and groceries as part of the FCB/FCX soccer club annual food drive. Members of the team supplied $5 each to purchase over 100 items at Wal-Mart for donations to local food banks.  The items were then distributed along with all other donations collected by the FCB/FCX club/teams.  Director of Coaching Stuart Peek visited two different charitable organizations who received donations from the club: The Crisis Center of Elgin and the FISH food bank in Carpentersville.  All items were delivered over the Christmas holidays, and Stuart spent some time at both locations. Thanks to all teams and families that donated to this worthy cause, the families who were helped were truly thankful.
