Recreational Indoor Soccer Information
Winter 2009-2010

Winter begins our Indoor Soccer season, when it turns cold outside warm up by playing soccer inside with BASA at the brand new state of the art Lake Barrington Field House. 
 
 Benefits of playing at the Lake Barrington Field House
-Field Size 60 yards long x 40 yards wide
-U11 and below play full field year round
-Great for soccer development: no walls, outdoor rules, great fitness
-All age groups play 7v7 with maximum rosters of 12
-State of the Art Field and Facility
-Viewing Track above Fields for parents
-Team rooms for players and coaches prior to games
-All games on Saturdays U9-HS between 8am and 5pm

 

This program is offered for Tots to High School with specific dates and times for each age group.

·          Most teams will carry over from the fall (as long as players register on time) however if team numbers are low, BASA will combine teams where necessary. Volunteer coaches coach all teams U9 and above

·          There are no practices during the week throughout the indoor season.

**All Kindergarten and 1st graders will sign up for U6 and U7 Academy online under your family account at www.basa.net**

 

Kindergarten and 1st grade Indoor Soccer/ U6 and U7 Academy

·          Play on Wednesday nights (4:10pm – 5:00pm)

·          Session 1 runs for 6 weeks (11/4/09-12/16/09-No training on 11/25/09), Session 2 runs for 10 weeks (1/13/10-3/17/10) 
.     This program will be a combination of technical development and small sided games
·          BASA/FC Barrington professional staff coaches will run the sessions and coach the games.  Each player will be assigned to a team and a staff coach for the entire session.
·          Cost is $100.00 for Session 1 and $150.00 for Session 2 
.     All Players will receive a BASA Academy T-Shirt
  
 
**All 2nd- HS players will sign up for Traditional Recreational Indoor Soccer under your family account at www.basa.net**
 

U9 (2nd and 3rd grade)

·          Games are on Saturdays

·          Session runs for 9/10 weeks from January 9 – March 13
·          Cost is $120.00
.     All teams will play 7v7 and 12 will be the maximum roster size

 

U11 (4th – 5th graders)

·          Games are on Saturdays

·          Session runs for 9/10 weeks from January 9 – March 13
·          Cost is $120.00
.     All teams will play 7v7 and 12 will be the maximum roster size
 
U12 and U14 (6th-8th grade)
·          Games are on Saturdays
.     U12 and U14 boys and girls -based on numbers BASA may combine these divisions (not co-ed but U14 boys with U12 boys and the same for girls, ONLY if NEEDED!!)

·          Session runs for 9/10 weeks from January 9 – March 13

·          Cost is $120.00
.     All teams will play 7v7 and 12 will be the maximum roster size
 
High School Boys (9th-12th grade)
.     Games are on Saturdays between 3pm-5pm
.     Session runs for 9/10 weeks from January 9 – March 13
.     Cost is $120.00
.     All teams will play 7v7, or 6v6 (Depends on final numbers) and 12 or 10 will be the maximum roster size
 
High School Girls (9th-12th grade)
.     Games are on Saturdays between 3pm-5pm
.     Session runs for 8 weeks from January 9-February 27(Ends prior to HS tryouts)
.     Cost is $100.00
.     All teams will play 7v7 or 6v6 (Depends on final numbers) and 12 or 10 will be the maximum roster size


Indoor Registration begins
October 9– November 30, 2009. Spots are limited and fill up quickly, register early. When registration is full your child you be placed on a waiting list. BASA will either email or call you if an opening becomes available.
